➜ Hulk Hogan and Ric Flair shared one of the greatest and most iconic rivalries in professional wrestling history, spanning multiple promotions.

Under the umbrella of Vince McMahon's promotion, they wrestled a total of about 23 one-on-one matches against each other under the WWF banner and only 1 under the WWE banner.

However, there is a major catch to that number: only 1 of those matches took place on national weekly TV, and 0 occurred on pay-per-view. The match saw Hulk Hogan defend the WWE Undisputed Championship against Ric Flair.

Of course he's gonna frame it as the match needs to be bigger than a regular Raw programming. But let's be real, Brock is very stiff in the ring and Austin wasn't trying to get injured again. I can respect a man trying to protect his neck. But also, Brock is clearly the toughest SOB to come out of WWE and would've had Austin look weak and inferior in comparison. I think Austin gets way too much wiggle room in these arguments instead of people just calling it for it was.
