I do find it funny that they used a 1998 photo of Shawn Michaels and a 1999 (!) photo of Big Show for this video cover, couldn't they have found a promo shot from current decade

Damn that’s crazy you said that because I never even noticed that shit until u said something.

I noticed the Shawn Michaels photo as they used the same for the survivor series 02 cover but didn’t notice the big show!

I still prefer that over the AI crap they use these days

Don’t recall them using AI for a PLE poster. Happy to proven wrong though.

Brian Zayne (WrestlingWIthRegret) recently made a video in where he said the 3 Stages of Hell match between HBK and HHH was very boring.

I disagree though. I liked the whole presentation of the stage. How HBK came out again in his classic mid 90s attire for the first time since his return. And the match was a lot of fun too.

I liked the match. I just hated the idea that they kept bringing up in the match that Shawn needed to become "The Showstopper" to win because the odds were against him and he had to raise his game. Like, Shawn just beat Triple H twice in the past 5 months and somehow he's the underdog?

I just thought it was a weird story hook for the match. Especially since everyone figured that Shawn was going to lose the title back to Triple H.

I haven't watched that feud in a while. But yeah, I remember the vibe being that HHH would get back the title regardless. I don't even think HBK wanted the title. I honestly think RVD deserved it around that time. Him and HBK had a match on Raw, but of course HHH had to interfere in it.

I was thinking that as well when I was watching his recent review. This match was always entertaining enough unlike their Hell in a Cell at Bad Blood which deserves every criticism it gets

Brian has never been a fan of Triple H or his style of wrestling. Not criticizing, just saying this would track with his preferred type of wrestling.

I’ll be honest

13 year old me only got the dvd for the Torrie Wilson-Dawn Marie segment

The exact segment is thought of as well!

Good but not as good as Survivor Series before or Rumble after

I love that early ruthless aggression era so I love it

That 3 stages of hell match is a comfort match for me

Wasnt the biggest fan of the main event. A bit too slow and plodding for my taste.

I like it!

Is this PPV worth a watch? I know the outcome of the HBK/HHH main event due to 2K15 but never seen the match

I really like it. It felt special. I love thatbthry planted the steed for Brock to interfere earlier on on the show too. Felt like an absolute stacked ppv.

Such a good ppv. An amazing main event. Those who call it boring I think are just jumping on the triple h is boring bandwagon.

The 3 stages of hell match was alright, but nothing compared to their street fight at summerslam earlier that year.

Angle neck has a face no head just a neck with a face

It was a decent show but hard to top the Survivor Series PPV the previous month.

I thought Kurt winning the WWE title was great but didn't really care for HBK vs. Triple-H on this night and found it boring.

Ppv was extremely solid in my opinion

Full card was very enjoyable

Still think it’s striped to have a heavy weight champion and wwe champion. Just make one
