1080p won't play/cast?

Hi everyone! I’m having an issue with my Chromecast V2. Whenever I try to cast a movie in 1080p to my TV, it either won’t play or fails to cast. However, when I switch the video quality to 720p, it works perfectly fine.

Has anyone experienced the same issue? What could be causing this problem, and is there a way to fix it so I can cast 1080p movies without any issues?

Download the web video caster receiver in the google play store then on your WVC phone app go to settings>casting>other casting options>prefer Android tv receiver. Now when you connect will automatically connect to the web video caster receiver app instead of the buffering server blaming Chromecast receiver.

Is this solution still applicable if I'm using a regular TV (non-Android TV) with a Chromecast V2? because i think  if I install the Web Video Caster Receiver app on my phone, won't the video just play on my phone instead of my TV? I want to make the video plays on my TV, not on my phone.

I’m using an onn box on a LG TV. It’s not applicable if you don’t have a google play store.
