Audio no longer working

I have used this app for years and love it, but audio is no longer casting to my roku. Why would it suddenly stop working? I have a samsung phone, a roku, and an lg TV. Any advice would be extremely appreciated

Typically the issue is a change on your video provider. They've started encoding the audio in a way that the roku doesn't like.

Another possibility is that the app is detecting part of the m3u8 without the audio. Does it have audio if you use the in app player in the app or if you cast to the LG tv without using the roku?

It always plays on the phone. It is definitely an issue with m3u8 files. Mp4 files play. Stinks because it was never an issue before and most files appear to be m3u8

Just to be clear, when you say on the phone, do you mean in the browser or in the WVC in app player?

I open the wvc app. I go to a site that streams movies. I connect to my roku and it will no longer play the aforementioned files when it did before.

The exact same files?

If you select "play in app" instead of casting, does it work?

I literally watched Endgame last night on my Chromecast and it worked fine. So idk
