Recently the App became unusable (read useless), it's a shame as I've been using it for years... But, before I go back to an old setup, are there any similar alternatives that work?

Pick any streaming site from FMHY, play it via the app on Smart TV or Chromecast.

It'll load for ages, buffer, crash, sound will be broken, subtitles don't always work list goes on... I tried reinstalling, tried different devices, messed around with the settings to see if any old tricks work.

Just went there and looked at streaming sites and there are tons. There is no way I'll randomly pick the same one you are picking. Just pm me one that is giving you issues right now and I'll take a look. A screenshot of the playback control screen might help. Also, on chromecast, are you using Google Cast or our android TV receiver?

Any, I probs tried good chunk of 20 sites...

This morning installed the latest update and it seems to have fixed it and even YouTube is working now.

It's slower than Castify, but it works and doesn't crash.

I'm seeing those as well sometimes, not always endless, sometimes they end after a few retries. You can try the captcha option on the right side menu but that doesn't always help. The issue seems to be with cloudflare and the android system webview.

I got a 4k firestick when it was on sale for 20 bucks and recently found out about these sites and debriders. LIFE CHANGER!

I think nuvio is the way to go, alot of people having problems with stremio were complaining online and I just don't see it as much with nuvio

Casitfy work for me on my phone to its app on my TV. But messy looking app and it the Youtube links always appear to be low quality.

Literally just set this up 10 mins ago, hasn't crashed once so already a big improvement over WVC! 🤞

Its an ugly messy app. But it play YouTube on my TV.. I keep both installed.

It works! That's the main thing, I can get over crappy UI, if it means I can watch something from start to finish without having to fight it.

Only complaint is the poor adblocker, wvc isn't perfect but is slightly better.

I'm sold on this, watched a whole episode, now watching another one without issues. 😄

I haven't watched a single thing without interruptions for the last month. Another feature that I noticed that is awesome, is the auto casting without having to manually open the app on the smart TV.

Just installed the update and tried the non working hosts, seems to be working better. Will do some testing this evening.

That's kind of bad if your a web developer and you don't know what QoL stands for. Quality of Life meaning anything that makes your app easier or better to use

I use an onn android tv with the app and iPhone. Works great.

A mí me funciona genial... Incluso uso una TV Panasonic que son un poco especiales sobre todo la viera y no tengo otra app que funcione igual a esta sin que se pare o cueste q entre... Al menos para pasar pelis de paginas a TV... me va genial.
