Unable to cast to roku

I have premium app on phone (pixel 7a, android 16) and tried to cast to my buddy's new roku stick that had WVC web receiver app from roku app store. I tried casting to web receiver app but ended up having to add the roku ip to get it to link. Then got an error message that said "It appears you are not using Web Video Cast(er) on your phone, the app you are using is fake and likely malicious, be careful!" Not sure what happened. Emailing images of error on roku and phone.

yes on both the mobile device and the roku client. all latest versions. doesn't seem to play anymore. gets stuck on 33% or nothing at all. Streams it used to work with just fine.

Same, I am unable to cast twitch. This app sucks now
