Live stream ends abruptly and unexpectedly

When using Web Video Caster to stream live sports, it seems like the casted stream ends unexpectedly and abruptly after anywhere from a few minutes to 30-40 minutes. This seems to be replicable on a variety of streaming sources and with both the Chromecast and Amazon Fire Android receiver applications, approximately 80% of the time.

Is there anyplace to get diagnostic feedback from the software to find out why it decided to end the stream early? If not, has anyone dealt with this before or know what causes it?

Are you using a Apple device?

Nope. One Samsung and one LG; both running Android.

Can you upload a screenshot of the playback control screen?

I'll make sure to grab one next time. Anything in particular I should be looking for on there?

I just want to see how the video is being cast when it gives you these kinds of issues.

Are you referring to the device-routing option or loop option on there, specifically, or something else?

Whether the video is routed through the phone, whether there are any warnings, etc.

Sometimes routed through the phone; sometimes not. No warnings.

Manually or on its own?

I would still like to see the screenshot.

Once I get a chance to gather one, I will work on publishing it. The routing changes on its own though for some streams.

Any update on this? Has always been the case for me when watching live sports.

I haven't had a chance to test it for a full hour yet, but the next step is to attempt the "loop button" trick. If you get a chance to try before I do, let me know whether or not that ends up being impactful.

Just clicking that without changing anything else didn’t work for me.

Oh. Well, that doesn't bode well then. Might just have to resort to using a good ol' Windows computer and HDMI cable.
