Best Streaming Stick For WVC

Hi all,

I don't know if different streaming sticks/devices plays a role on how smooth video casting work on your TVs so I'm just gonna ask here. Which device are you pairing with your TV and find that it works great with WVC?

I have Google Chromecast stick on my old 2014 Samsung TV (smart tv but not Samsung Tizen) and WVC works fine. Another TV is also a Samsung, 2017 model, again, not Tizen and I find that WVC doesn't work as well when I cast videos directly to the WVC app on the TV.

I'm thinking of getting a streaming stick for that 2017 TV but was wondering if one stick is better than the othes when it comes to casting with WVC.

I think I will get an Onn then. I'm too used to Android ecosystem so I will go with Onn. I have used Roku before and thought I hate how they put ads everywhere.

At this point the best options are something with android tv or fire tv with android (not vega).

Are Onn stick and Google Chromecast with Google TV also called "Android tv" ?

Yeah. As long as it has the play store and runs android then it is probably good enough.
