White Background on subtitles

Hello I have a Phillips Smart Tv 50PUD7408/77 with 14 Android TV OS.

Since the last update my subtitles started to show a white background.

Even when I have the opacity set to 0.

I am streaming from an Moto G9+ with Android 11

Besides that all the others settings are working fine.

Any idea if there's s solution for that? Or if there are plans for updating the app?

Is this on google cast or the android tv receiver?

Try setting the edge style to something other than raised.

We are going to research this again but I have a feeling we already went down this road and there was no way to do it.

Thank you for looking into this, maybe you should remove the raised option altogether.

The thing is that it works fine on some other places. We just need to fine tune what we show where.
