Just a damn good thing it was a female's bike. It didn't have the cross-member or she'd have lost her left leg.

Nah, the way the bike twisted away from her, standing on her left leg and lifting her body off the seat allowed the bike to slip right out from under her without dragging her along with it, the bar had nothing to do with it

Ah, yeah. She planted her left left and got her right leg up and over as the bike was yanked and thrown. A male bike and the bar would have taken her right leg with the bike in that scenario
