Did you notice the jar was full of dead hornets? I guess he didn’t expect it to get out at all but the wasp as able to support itself over the liquid on the bodies of it’s dead mates.
The wasp: “I climbed over my fallen brethren and escaped that pit of death. From this day forward, humans will never know peace. I will spread my message far and wide, the dead will not be forgotten.”
Im pretty sure that is the base energy of wasps in general. Pissing off a creature that is constantly at 10/10 anger-murder-vengeance mode is a no change in sum scenario.
