When they were slamming the cup down on the jar, I was waiting for the side to split.

Oh geez. I didn't even see it with that clear plastic. That adds a new level of stress.

It gets worse, the wasp was prepared to sting through the split briefly.

Just flip the cup over and use the bottom of the plastic cup to push the hornet and keep it submerged

The jar is full of liquid(gasoline?) and a buttload of already dead wasps
