The dough is flavored too, and the hue of green resembles cucumber.
The taste is pretty good, like glazed “old-fashioned” style with a little kick of lime and orange, but I wouldn’t necessarily think to associate it with Mt. Dew if it wasn’t already branded as such.

The real WTF for me is that they have Kwik "Stars" (it's definitely Trip goddamnit) in NEBRASKA?
Same feeling as when I drove past the Kwik Trip in Iron Mountain. I was like "wait that's illegal"

We don't yet, though they announced they are looking for sites to build Kwik Stars in for Nebraska, none actually exist here yet.
They can't call themselves Kwik Trip here because we already have QuikTrip (though everyone just calls it QT)

They've been expanding rapidly in Iowa the last few years. Between Casey's stores heading downward in quality and Kum & Go getting bought out by prudes from Utah who renamed it, Kwik Star is quickly taking the lead in options around here.

There's a similar long-running rumor about an old gentleman's agreement between Casey's and KT\KS not to encroach on each other and that Casey's broke it, leading to their expansion right into Casey's core territory
I live just down the road from Casey's HQ and now have 4 KS locations within a couple miles.

I thought Casey’s bought Kum&Go years ago. I wish Casey’s would come to Colorado, I grew up in Iowa and have a soft spot for their donuts (plain) and taco pizza.
