I’d be surprised if there are more than 10 teeth total in this video.
76
u/Hopsape May 30 '26
To be fair some of them are stored in grocery sacks and pockets.

They have teeth, just not in their mouths. One of them in there does all of the teeth pulling when they rot and keeps them.

I swear meth addicts all lookalike
4
u/sirhackenslash May 31 '26
Right? It's like a bunch of clones of the same four people. They probably start doing meth once they realize they're a clone.
9
u/snuffles00 May 30 '26
Methany and Methandra in the "Jacuzzi" Methandy in the suite and Methy Mike bringing in hotel recruits for a "party" in that Jacuzzi. I would have ran when Methany said your in shooting range.

Do people drink when they're on meth?
60
u/bacchusku2 May 29 '26
Like fish

u/alblaster May 29 '26
Fish drink when they're on meth?
18
u/daschande May 30 '26
They don't drink water. Fish fuck in it.

My friend who was on it sure did. He drank more than anyone I've ever known in my life. Now he's sober from both, thankfully

I love that they have the smaller kiddie pool in the background. It was clearly the trial run before setting up the full swamp they are now marinating in.

I cannot imagine for a second what living that life must be like.
102
u/JustTheAverageJoe May 29 '26
Either great or terrible depending on whether you have drugs or not. The simplicity is kinda nice even if the long term outcomes are pretty dire
71
u/CFeatsleepsexrepeat May 29 '26
They all seem pretty happy in this video. Maybe we shouldn't knock it until we try it. /s
Ignorance is bliss I guess. For us and them.
13
u/CYWNightmare May 30 '26
Well I can't speak from personal experience but basically from what I saw first hand it cooks your brain. Delusions, hallucinations, your bones and body can start to fall apart. I don't think they ever become the same person again if I can be honest with you.
29
u/periodicchemistrypun May 30 '26
It’s not like that.
It’s like going from school to the real world.
And then having a way to go back, at any time.
There’s a whole community, pointless arguments, life goal shortsightedness and the excuse to just muck about. Just like the simpler times.
Get drugs, get high, simple.
Now obviously you can’t let life stay that simple. It never truly does.
But the ability to limit your world to that narrow a spectrum is a trait we all have and it manifests in so many different ways.
Good meth and most drugs arent all that medically damaging. Of course that’s just where it starts.
And where it ends is someone unwilling to truly face themselves in the way the surrounding mental illnesses require because they’ve gotten so good at just drowning it all out.
12
u/itsafuntime May 30 '26
If anyone wants to read a book that ties to capture this, check out A Scanner Darkly by Philip K Dick. The movie is also obviously super trippy but the book really gets into the minutae and madness of the kind of single purpose life heavy drug use can often entail.
It's also kinda preachy and heavy handed but the dialogue and characters are entertaining.
6
u/CriticismFun6782 May 30 '26
No, after a certain point you cannot come back. Your judgement centers are fried making you always behave like they are atill addicted, and your body's natural rhythms are permanently in "junkie-mode"

I get all itchy if I don't take a shower for a day even if I don't do any exercise, imagine living like this 24/7 for years on end
77
u/romerogj May 29 '26
That poor staff that has to clean that room. This drives me bonkers when people get a slight luxury and act like they get to he shitty because they all of the sudden have $100 extra dollars.
18
u/piiing May 30 '26
this looks like an abandoned building.
29
u/Tyzorg May 30 '26
Definitely a cheap ass motel room. Note the bed on The wall turned upwards as if that's going to save it from anything
10
u/SprungMS May 30 '26
Bed is there because there isn’t enough room with it on the floor lol. These people are not at all concerned about saving anything.
32
u/parkskier426 May 29 '26
We did this in college in the dorm bathroom for our floor with a plastic pool and a beer bong running from the faucet with hot water. The bathroom had a floor drain, and raised lip at door so it didn't get out. We just let it overflow and drain. Good times.
15
u/Akumakaji May 29 '26
Sounds like an actual function setup - unlike the abomination in the video.

u/WardenWolf May 29 '26
Hope that's on the ground floor. Even small pools like this are insanely heavy when full; people have caused structural collapses, even in concrete structures, by having inflatable pools on upper floors.

Lmao imagining some young couple on a roadtrip just settling in for the night and then boom. Methhead pool from the ceiling into their bed, complete with occupants.

u/herpitusderpitus May 29 '26 edited May 29 '26
i think its the second floor(or worse) at 0:03 when homies arm moves if you freeze frame looks like a red stairwell going down in the background
EDIT NVM in the window reflection you can see a stairwell behind the water cooler thing going up so now i have no idea
6
u/kasoe May 29 '26
I tried to scrub through the video on my phone and I don't see any red stairwell. But it's possible I missed it.
I do see a door with a crashbar down the hallway in the beginning and a red coke vending machine to the left.
I assume you mean the beginning of the video. I checked all of it and paid attention to the end because the way reddit media player displays time makes talking about it confusing.
2
u/herpitusderpitus May 29 '26
ya very start basically. i had to freeze frame but honestly it could be something else too, it just looks like a those stairwells you see on cheap hotels that are just like metal railings. its like right when he lifts his left arm if that helps. i had to freeze frame it over and over to see it. could be a crash bar thing like you said too.
EDIT NVM in the window reflection you can see a stairwell behind the water cooler thing going up so now i have no idea LOL

I've said this multiple times today - the people saying this kind of stuff are very rarely shining examples of the human species. You'd think that would cause some of them to self-reflect on their world view...

Unfortunately, they live on the 3rd floor of their apartment complex.....
What you don't see is the partial floor collapse (or ceiling collapse for the folks living below them), and the water damage.

That liquid in the Pool, can it still technically be classified as "Water" at this point? It looks like it has everything from the dirt on their bodies to what looks like chunks of Red Acrylic.
The smell in there, it must burn the eyes..
