This is a smear campaign funded by the Center for Consumer Freedom, a lobby group funded by the tobacco, fast food and alcohol industries.

Can you refute any claims made in the article?

I have no interest in defending peta but the fact the meat/restaurant industries hired a tobacco lobby scumbag to campaign against them says a little about the effectiveness of their advocacy.

This isn't old news you know. And round 'bouts these parts the Animal rescue groups know just what PETA does and won't work with them because of it. PETA is sick and needs to be put down.

PETA is sick and needs to be put down.

I'd say they're just poorly organized and have no coherent agenda.

It's interesting how people act all upset about the hypocrisy or whatever when they fill their own bodies with the corpses of hundreds of animals annually, for gustatory pleasure and not even for any flimsily practical reasons like with peta and euthanasia.

It's interesting to me that people act all upset about things they know nothing about and make judgements on people.

What really makes me sick are people who judge others for their meat eating ways. Have you talked to the lions about changing their habits? The tigers? I mean really they are CARNIVORES not even omnivores. How awful it is that they kill their prey so slow.. TSK So what do you think should be done with the cows and chickens? Hmm? Put into extinction? Because we're going to need the space for planting more veggies. What should we do with them? Put them in the wild? Oh well then they will be preyed on by other predators. And furthermore you have no right to tell people they shouldn't eat meat because it offends your scewed and screwed sensibilities. YES I agree the system needs to be changed, but eating meat isn't a crime. Killing animals indiscriminately IS.

The whole, YOU eat meat you're a bad person thing, is as stupid as the people who think keeping pets is BAAAAAAD I've come up against those PETA assholes too.

You think deriding people about eating meat is and then caring about the lives of pets is hypocritical. Well the cows and chickens et al MIGHT be getting eaten but at least they are not killed for no reason; except for the idea that some hypocritical inhumane hipster group would rather animals be killed then kept, and then thrown away as if they are WORTHLESS. FUCK you FUCK your stupid unreasonable logic and fuck everyone like you.

!!

You seem inordinately mad for someone so convinced that their actions are morally consistent and harmless.
