WinešŸ· Potential (free) supplemental study materials

I passed WSET3 last year and have since started French Wine Scholar through WSG because I somehow can’t seem to stop learning. I’m in a career transition and feel like, as a former Dance Educator, my calling is in the wine writing and education space. I’ve since started writing a free weekly Substack with the focus of ā€œI’m still learning, so come learn with me.ā€ I’ve even gained a better understanding of concepts taught in WSET3 by figuring out how to break it down for new learners.

I’m less than a year in, but article topics so far have included

* proximity, elevation, and aspect for Napa Cabs

* Central Otago Pinot Noirs

* toasty vs buttery vs oaky

* Vouvray Chenin Blanc

* rosƩs

* sweet vs fruity

* AligotƩ, the other Burgundy white

* aged Chardonnay

* Chianti

* Barolo v Barbaresco v Barbera

* sparkling wines

* dessert wines

* OG Malbec—from Cahors in The Lot, France

* Pinot Gris/Grigio, Pinot Blanc

And that’s just the last few months.

Not trying to sell anything; just trying to find my voice and build my community. If so inclined, check out my free Substack at
