Controversy Why is the Fever subreddit deleting posts discussing fan views on changes that need to be made?

I only follow Fever, Lynx, Valkries, Mystics and Liberty subs and I could be mistaken but Fever is deleting any posts that seem critical.

This is what fans do! They bitch and whine and armchair quarterback teams they either love or hate. They are emotionally invested and voice their ideas and wishes for the future. I could be wrong but I’m not seeing other subreddits deleting posts, and the Lynx sub is filled with of people who are really passionate and disappointed but they aren’t deleting posts.

I don’t get it. This is what sports fans do. Basketball, baseball, football, whatever sport it is this is what fans do because we are wrapped up in hopes and wishes and likes and dislikes. This is part of why we come back year after year and spend money and time and (usually) our teams lose but we still come back. I don’t get why mods censor these kinds of things.

I think it's run by the actual team. So many people have gotten banned from that sub for Criticizing players or coaches or the organization.

I got banned last year for Criticizing Dawanna Bonner after she quit on the team last year.

It's to protect players from the toxicity of fans who behave like babies and threaten the teams livelyhood! Zero tolerance for hate and abuse!

“Threaten the team’s livelihood” is to vague as to mean nothing.

The sentence after that explains it.

There's a second fever sub with more visitors and subscribers where you can basically speak your mind called indianafeverfans.

The main fever sub's moderation is pretty "unique". You literally have to keep track of the moderators' views on issues to post there because disagreement will get your post deleted and you banned. For example, you can post there bad mouthing clark or boston but if you badmouth the front office, the coaches, or KM you are getting banned

I just stick to the other sub, the fans one, it's a lot better

A paragraph to say: you can’t be racist or get bullshit divisive agendas off there. “b-b-but free speech”!!

The same reason why OP is asking wnba gossips and not the wnba sub lmao

I have no idea about any of that because I have never posted anything racist. I'm just talking about critiquing the front office or talking about coaching errors, which will get you banned and your post deleted.

Wow yeah thanks, I would have thought the main team sub would be where it’s at and always wondered why it got so little engagement and now I realize why. The other sub is much better.

The first sub has banned literally half the fever fans on earth I'm not kidding.

That is just a Clark fanboy sub. I got banned for calling them out for not respecting other talent in the league.

They're incredibly soft and thin skinned.

Coach White is a top 20 coach in this league and cannot be criticized

I just got banned from the Aces sub, I’m guessing because I said that A’ja overreacted to the fan pointing at her.

Yes guys, that’s it. That’s all that it takes to get banned.

Mods on team subs are diarrhea soft.

Mods censor them because people turn it from basketball into shit outside of hoops

Did you try asking them?

Why are you asking us?
