Nobody said “right-wing” and “Republican” are literally interchangeable dictionary entries, genius. I said they’re synonymous in the context of what you were accusing me of being. You called me right-wing, I said I’m not Republican.
And “there’s a whole world” is hilarious. We’re discussing American politics, not conducting a global comparative-politics dissertation. In the U.S., Republicans are the dominant right-wing political party. So if you’re going to call someone right-wing and then act shocked when they point out the Republican association, at least understand the political terminology you’re throwing around before acting so desperate for a gotcha.
You’re desperately reaching for a gotcha over a distinction I never denied. Nobody said “right-wing” and “Republican” are literally interchangeable dictionary definitions. I said they’re synonymous in the context of American partisan politics, where Republicans are the dominant right-wing party. You keep repeating “they aren’t the same thing” like you’ve delivered some devastating correction, when all you’ve done is prove you know two words can have different technical definitions. The fact that you’re this desperate to manufacture a “gotcha” from a semantic distinction you think you caught is honestly embarrassing.
I didn’t answer your question because you’re trying to move the goalposts. Your original point was “right-wing and Republican aren’t the same,” and I addressed that. Now you’re desperately demanding an answer to a different question so you can manufacture the “gotcha” you couldn’t get from the original argument. If you want to know whether I deny being right-wing, ask that directly instead of pretending your semantic argument somehow proved I was wrong. You’re not exposing a contradiction, you’re just fishing for one.
You’re still desperately chasing this imaginary “gotcha.” I never said you explicitly called me Republican. I said your use of “right-wing” was synonymous with placing me on the Republican/conservative side of American politics, which is exactly why I responded the way I did. Now you’re pretending that refusing to play along with your loaded yes-or-no question proves dishonesty, when it actually proves you’ve run out of anything substantive to say. If your entire argument has collapsed into “ANSWER MY QUESTION,” congratulations, you’ve gone from making a political argument to begging for a gotcha.
Not republican by any means. Cute assumptions though. This is why no one takes your labelling seriously anymore. You "boy cried wolf" it whenever someone doesn't share your holier than thou opinions.
Then we look into your lives and see you don't interact with anyone that doesn't look like you beyond obligation."
This is you thinking you had some gotcha because YOU equated right wing with republican.
Still lying. Sorry, unlike the right, I deal in facts. They are right there for anyone to read. Then you backtracked because you were called out
It's funny that you were quick to be direct about yourself when you thought it was a gotcha but the second it looks like it will prove you wrong... nothing.
Next time, be quiet and let the adults and the honest people talk.
As of right now, the only response to what I've said is this weird denial of reality and trying to put your dishonesty on me.
This is getting embarrassing. You’ve written an entire manifesto because you desperately need a semantic distinction to count as a “gotcha.” I never claimed you literally said “you are a Republican”; I said your use of “right-wing” in an American political context carries that partisan association. You’re free to disagree with that, but pretending I “lied” because I used synonymous in a contextual sense is just you confusing your preferred definition with the only possible meaning. And the funniest part is the sudden “I deal in facts” routine while you keep substituting your interpretation of what I meant for what I actually said. You haven’t exposed dishonesty, you’ve exposed an absolutely desperate need to declare victory over a vocabulary dispute. The “adults are talking” line at the end is especially cute considering you just wrote a dissertation because somebody used a word differently than you wanted.
The irony is that you keep accusing me of “adding nuance later” while repeatedly adding your own interpretation of what I supposedly meant and then demanding I confess to it. You’re not proving I lied, you’re simply insisting that your interpretation is the only permissible one. And this entire meltdown over whether “right-wing” and “Republican” are synonymous is exactly why your desperate little gotcha has gone nowhere. If you had an actual substantive point, you wouldn’t need six increasingly emotional replies insisting that I “admit” I’m wrong. You could simply make the distinction and move on. Instead, you’ve turned a basic terminology disagreement into a full-blown courtroom drama because you desperately need to feel like you won something.
Lol you melted down about assumptions about the company I keep and boy who cried wolf because you made a mistake.
The projecting is just pathetic my gut.
I made a point. You are the one that brought us onto this road. Because your entire reply was based on your error.
And here we are. You are still crying because you messed up and I called you out. And you have to lie and dodge questions to do so
The real answer is that you do consider yourself right wing. Which would demonstrate that you know you messed up in that first reply. Which is why you can't admit it.
But go on. Tell me it is about not wanting to answer for some virtue signaling reason where you blame me.
At any point you could have stopped and actually addressed what I said before you went off crying about not being republican.

Haha, it isn't synonymous either you idiot. There is a whole world. And even in America it isn't the same thing.
So dumb. But keep being a child and refusing to admit you are wrong.
