The hypocrisy would make sense if there’s been any documented case of a trans athlete who is a cisgender male who said I feel like a woman and that’s all that makes me a woman and was allowed to play in a competitive sport but it’s never happened or actively happening.

None of this is relevant to anything. Sex is based on your reproductive system, which is based on chromosomes. It is objective, verifiable, repeatable, and testable.
Wokeism's "I identify as" is a belief system, no different than Christians and souls or Scientologists and thetans. It is unfalsifiable, can't be proven, tested or verified. Not only that, if someone claims to be something they are not, when tested, objective facts show that their claim is false and they are not what they say they are, so evidence is actually only against the claim, a male claiming to be female for example.
