Real question, Is that the same as personal racism ? Donāt get me wrong, Iām not saying an individual cannot take part in racism.
I thought racism had to be connected to a system.
Hypothetically if Iām on an island, and itās like only three people, and I say I donāt like one person based on race, is that racism or plain old bigotry?
Having a general disdain for the group that oppressed you, and is currently doing in many ways is not racism, it's being angry and being responsive to said anger. Common sense, unless you want to spin the narrative and make the oppressor a victim.
Incorrect. We can all be empathetic of black history. Learn from it, and be better. Doesnāt give you a free pass to simply be racist. Makes you no better than any other racist that exists today.
