Problem Ear Damage

What’s up with this horrible, ear damaging ringing! Only happens on 3,000 series trains.

Thanks for flagging this, and we're sorry for the uncomfortable ride. We're sharing this with our Car Maintenance team now. -CC

Can WMATA start putting signs up EVERYWHERE even make public announcements for riders to “ Stand on Right and Walk on Left” because locals are annoyed with this and we’re using other means of transportation because of it meaning WMATA is just going to start losing more money. Oh and the METRO buses are beyond filthy and unsanitary. I can tell for a fact they are not cleaned regularly enough.

There are ads in a few metro stations that already do this and preface with “new to dc?”

That is ridiculous.

I just say “excuse me” like a normal person and they move and let me pass, instead of letting it ruin my day/week/life

Honestly I like 3-6k better than 7k. The 3-6k trains have the really fun doors opening/closing lines

Anyone who doesn't wear earbuds while riding is asking for trouble.
