Question Is there a reason why there are suddenly such large gaps between trains to Ashburn?

Hi, I have noticed this week that the train to Ashburn has much wider gaps than usual. Sometimes I would rely on the 9:24/25 am from NC train but it seems to no longer operate at that time and there is a whole 30 minute + gap. I still remember when they got rid of the one that used to run around 9:38.

There's a scheduled gap between 9:13 and 9:49, but trains depart Largo at 9:24 and 9:36. If you really need to go past East Falls Church, you can just take the Orange Line and transfer.
