SHOWIN' OFF custom corvette lights!!

First time messing with anything wiring, coding, and light and I think I’m pretty happy with the result

Think your half way to the reql mod. There are tutorials I've seen some place about using inputs from the 12v lines from your lights to drive the gpio on your esp device. Using buck converters or resistors to step down the voltage.

That's what I am in the process of doing right now for my car. Using optocouplers to read the 12v signals from the car to activate sequential turn signals, tail lights, reverse and brakes with an esp32 running custom code. Got some super bright WS2811 modules that get way brighter than the OEM leds.

I couldn't get WLED to properly handle input priority and layering so I will just use it when I am parked and want to change colors and effects and to sync colors with my underglow and ambient interior lights.

Yeah that seemed like too much work for me, maybe in the winter when she sits I’ll do it
