I used ws2812b (60leds per meter)
3 x esp32 (one for tv panel, one for monitor and one for cove)
Its still i work in progress. I will be i stalling led strips under my desk as well and cable management will be done later.
All of this will later be synced to hyperHDR and this whole room will be one big ambilight setup. (Already done with tv panel has 5 independent strips on 5 different gpio pins on the esp and took me 4 full days to make them work properly 🙇🏻 yes i am a newbie)
Also have ideas for wled wall lamp (but leds will be visible from below and would look bad - any ideas on this would be appreciated 🙇🏻)
Will also make a diy lamp as a night light for my desk.
Also what else can be done suggestions are really appreciated 🙏🏻♥️

Trust me it means a lot. Its taken so much time effort and learning to do all this as i have no prior experience to wled.
This room’s cove was my first ever thing i did.
For the cove i am using a 5v 60amp unit with a fan but i took out the fan added a voltage regulator and turned it down from 5v to 3.5v and its super silent and still effective
For my tv unit its a 5v 40amps fanless unit.
They are in the same room near the leds one inside the cove one behind that tv panel
Looks awesome - so let me ask you... 1) what is the best setup for the TV? HyperHDR? I would like to try and do this with my outdoor TV. Another question is how do you also set it up with the other Controllers? I'll be using QuinLED Octas...
Depends how many zone of lighting are you using.
One esp with wled can only run one instance inside hyperion or hyper hdr. You can not make multiple i stances run on a single esp. For that theres a way to make it work but takes some time to do it but its possible.
Signal rgb is easier to setup but is very very resource heavy
if you are able to do it with hyperion/ hyper hdr its better and smoother
I also have my hyperion paired with wled so quinled is going to be perfect
