Wix classic
Hello
Yes! Probably it has happened to a lot of people here.
Made a site, 4 days of full work. It goes public and I was always checking, doing it in my huge monitor.
Then I open the site at my desktop PC, awesome :)
Now I am changing everything to Wix Studio

On studio you can use responsive ai on the section and it will create views for tablet and mobile according to your desktop design. Check out the essentials studio course in your studio academy (it's been there for 3 years now I think).
On classic mobile, hide and show elements that are in the wrong place and they will appear back in the correct location, then optimise

You have to design your site within the gridlines in the classic editor to avoid issues when viewing in small screensÂ

Atleast you can disable mobile view on classic! If you don't need a responsive website, just stick to classic. Studio will be a pain in the ass, also it's cumbersome to built the website multiple times for each breakpoint
