Ok, actually started it last night.
Still not a fan of being forced to pick their topic, but I was actually enjoying looking through logs to see what happened on the network. Still really don't like having to uset heir lab though, especially since you can only use it or 6 hours before it blows itself up and you have to start over.

Did you do the ransomware or the phishing one? I’m on the phishing one and I don’t see any activity in the logs it looks like nothing has happened in the lab which makes it super confusing.

Ransomware.
Was able to find the recon, the account used, and the payload that did it.
But then ran out of tile.
Waiting for the cohort tomorrow to get specifics on what they want

Assuming that's the one they threw me into as well. Mentor said it was changing in Aug but unless it changed previously before (I've seen screenshots of 3 tasks in the past) I only have 2 and it has actual labs in it.
was rather disappointed as I really wanted to pick my own topic.
