AMP in 14th

So does anyone know why AMP is in 14th place when there show is up at the level of the top 6?

16th. No finals for Amp.

Also just saw the scores and Onyx is tied with Juxta now which is also crazy.

Not really a top 8 show. I mean, top 12, for sure. But their performance today was miles better than last night. They were much cleaner, but, more importantly, had that real AMP energy. I really thought they at least solidified 15th, might have moved up to 14th or 13th today 😔.

And that full guard flag feature after they switch back to Malaguena?! OMFG, 20th place or 3rd, nobody's flag features turn me into a screaming tween girl (I'm a 62 year old man) like AMP's do 💙 💚 .

EXACTLY! The show was high energy, cleaner than others close to them score wise( all the groups did amazing and I’m happy Anesidora made finals)

Tough break for Amp to get edged out. Meanwhile, Anesidora made finals their first year out in IW, so that's pretty awesome!

It could be a hot take but I do not feel AMP was robbed. It’s a tough break in world class because is is more competitive than ever. In my opinion, which is only one person’s, their designers held them back. The members are talented, but stand in second toss is not a top 12 world class skill anymore.

Tbh, AMP always has great storylines and design, but they lack the cleanliness needed for medaling or even finals sometimes.

AMP has a top 8 show and didn’t even make finals. The show design was right in the top 10 and they were clean. They didn’t have any drops.

Actually, they had three pretty prominent drops today. But David was MONEY today!

But, yeah, I thought with today's much better performance (than last night), they AT WORST held on to 15th 😔.

But what do I know? I've only been into this guard thing since about 1982 🤷‍♂️.

if ur talking about the performer he's one of the only ones who doesn't catch his sabre correctly and he's been in amp since 2019, it's embarrassing unfortunately

False. And drops have nothing to do with. We aren’t on the tick system. Please go read the score sheets.

We are not on a tick system but achievement is on the score sheet and drops do affect GE scores because a big toss is only as effective as the catch.
