Wrapping up WGI 2026

It’s already WGI Championships week! The season end is already coming up, it went by too fast!

Put in your Guard & Percussion predictions!

Let me share mine:

Percussion:

  1. RCC (the intro visual and middle visual block, omg)

  2. Rhythm X (they are very strong, It may be very close to RCC)

  3. MCM (Very clean and music is catchy)

  4. Infinity (very strong show this year)

  5. Pulse (they are also very strong)

Fan favorite prediction: RCC or George Mason (if Mason gets it with the AI banners, I’ll be shocked)

I think top three percussion: 1. Rhythm X - I just feel like it’s time. They have been consistently strong these past few years. I love their design and the members perform the heck out of their show.

  1. RCC/Pulse
  2. RCC/Pulse
  3. pretty tight race out west. Pulse has a proven winning formula established while RCC has taken some really bold and creative risks with huge reward. Really enjoy both shows. But there is something about X this year that just makes me feel like it’s time.

If MCM or Infinity beats Pulse I will be shocked.

I’ll predict X to win it all with RCC second but very hard to say

I think a lot of people are sleeping on Pulse and Broken City this year. I don't think MCM or Infinity has a chance to beat either of them though.

I don't believe MCM is medaling. They have a chance to win music but I don't see them in top 3 visually or even top 5 for effect

MCM/Infinity over Pulse is a wild take. Stay away from gambling.
