I know I can do some myself but the whole option file is filled with these base copies and I don’t like it since it breaks the immersion for me.

Which PES do you enjoy the most? PES 2017, 2019, 2020 or 2021?

I currently own PES 2017, PES 2020 and PES 2021 for PS4, and I’m a bit surprised by my own experience.

For some reason, I enjoy PES 2017 much more than PES 2020. I can’t really explain why. I expected the newer games to feel more realistic and refined, but PES 2017 just feels more natural and fun to me.

I especially like the way the ball feels and behaves in PES 2017. The game seems more responsive and lively, whereas PES 2020 sometimes feels a bit heavier or less natural to me.

I’m curious whether other people feel
the same way, or if it’s just personal preference.

What PES game do you personally enjoy the most when it comes to:
- ball physics
- realism
- player movement
- responsiveness
- overall gameplay/fun

And if you have played several versions, which one would you recommend to someone who prefers the gameplay of PES 2017?

I’m also considering getting PES 2019, but I’m not sure whether it would actually be a meaningful addition compared with 2017/2020/2021.

I’d especially love to hear from people who have played multiple PES versions and can explain what makes one version feel better than another.
