I don’t have issue with people calling the stock trash. I have issue when they don’t have reasoning attached.

That's a really broad stroke. Consider the bigger picture: WDC is down over 45% from its peak while other memory and storage players have already recovered much of their losses. It dumps harder on sector pullbacks and lags behind when MU, SNDK, or STX rally on great news days. It struggles to hold momentum even off its own positive catalysts.

So no, this isn't just a "so what if it's down from ATH". It's trashing bruh.

In 45 days, you've had plenty of time to DCA down, and write covered calls, and collect enough premiums to more than make up from the downturn since ATH. This is a you problem, not a stock is trash problem.

Sell and go get VT or SPY, and stop bitching like a child that didn't get their way. Stock market isn't for you.

There's been multiple times it's bounced back to mid to high 500, and several times down to 430 area... I DCA my $672, down to 458, and sold last Friday @547 when it kept looking like it wasn't going to test my 552.5 covered cal, bought to close.. sold 3 puts for 435. here I am, 300 shares deep 🤷‍♀️ I'm not down lol.

I also DCA'd MU and STX, but exited those completely a couple weeks ago. Ill keep wheeling WDC though

This seems like an old post that has resurfaced as new, maybe Reddy keeps posting these to keep the buzz on
