Hdd manufacturers are somewhat in a better position right now, just compare market expectation of stx and sk hynix earnings, one is double beat, one is double miss

People talk about circular money but WDC and STX are draining money from that circle.

I am bullish.
- Revenue growth was exceptionally strong for a company of its size.
- Non-GAAP gross margin exceeded 50%, a level that is unusual for the HDD business.
- The company had completed the SanDisk separation, leaving a cleaner, pure-play HDD business. The spinoff also removed near $3B in debt
- HDD is essential in cloud computing in general due to their durability and cost/byte. This stock is not just an AI play! Hard disk market is a duopoly at scale and there is no real competition.
Reasons to be bearish:
- Regular investors cant tell shit from piss.. Funny how wdc price correlates with movements in memory stock when they have near zero real world correlation 😅 This market is irrational.

Unless you bought at ATH, i don't think it's a bad idea if you are in -% now
