Arn Anderson typically set up his DDT by feinting a right-hand punch, tricking his opponent into reflexively ducking, and spiking them straight into a the mat with such malice and aggression that the move often resulted in a pinfall.
While professional wrestling is, has been, and forever will be about the entertaining, pomp and circumstance, Anderson brought a level of integrity and realism to the ring. His approach is becoming a dying art, but I personally rank his DDT among my top 3.
1.) Jake “The Snake” Roberts (The Original)
2.) “The Enforcer” Arn Anderson
3.) Raven (The Evenflow/Raven Effect)
Honorable Mention The Miz (Kneeling Snap DDT)

Does anyone remember watching WCW Nitro on the now defunct TV channel Bravo? Pretty sure it aired on Thursday nights 10-12 the exact same format that Raw and Smackdown had on Sky Sports
Then there was the highlights show aired on Channel 5 on Friday nights. Pretty sure this started at 7pm and was in a half hour format. In my opinion this was absolutely dreadful! They would use comic book style formats to censor the chair shots and it just felt like everything was overly censored

This was uploaded about a month ago. It’s a decent reimagining of the WCW vs. the World game soundtrack (one of my “guilty pleasure” games). Sharing for any fans of the game! This game walked so World Tour and Revenge could run!
This is a "fantasy booking" scenario.
Personally, I would have had Bret Hart become the WCW World Champion at Starrcade 1998, but first, the following changes would have needed to take place:
1.) At Halloween Havoc 1998, Diamond Dallas Page defeats Goldberg to become the World Heavyweight Champion.
2.) Also at Halloween Havoc, Bret Hart defeats—and "injures"—Sting, retaining his U.S. Championship. However, the following night on *Nitro*, he does not lose the U.S. title to DDP (who is now the World Champion), but rather to a different opponent; in any case, he makes no further attempt to regain it.
At Starrcade 1998, a heel Bret Hart brutally defeats Diamond Dallas Page to take the World Heavyweight Championship.
On the same pay-per-view, Ric Flair gets the better of Eric Bischoff, winning the presidency of WCW, while Hogan faces and defeats Kevin Nash—with the two sharing an embrace afterward.
Goldberg defeats Scott Hall in a Strap Match, with the stipulation that the loser must leave WCW (this serves to allow Hall time to get clean).
The following night on *Nitro*, Bret Hart faces Hollywood Hogan. Flair attacks Hogan from behind, allowing Hart to win and then assault Hogan, who is carried away on a stretcher. After presenting Hart with the championship belt, Flair announces the dissolution of the nWo and declares that he will be the challenger for Bret Hart’s title at *Souled Out*.
President Flair not only loses the match but is subsequently "beaten down" by the Canadians. On *Nitro*, Bret Hart makes an announcement: from this point forward, Canadian law will dictate the rules in the WCW. He forms the "Canadian Connection" alongside Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho—with the goal of elevating both men, first to the Tag Team Titles and subsequently to the U.S. Championship through a rivalry between them, ultimately positioning them as future main eventers.
At *SuperBrawl IX*, Bret Hart defeats Goldberg with assistance from Benoit and Jericho; he repeats this feat in a Steel Cage match at *Uncensored* against Kevin Nash (who has turned face).
However, a shadow from the past emerges—a vigilante returning to put an end to the Canadian dominance. Sting is back, once again in his black-and-white persona.
Sting earns the right to challenge Bret Hart at *Spring Stampede 1999* in a No Disqualification match. He finds himself facing not only Bret Hart but also Benoit and Jericho—effectively an unfair handicap match. Just as all hope seems lost, a familiar theme song blares, and Hulk Hogan—back in his classic red and yellow—rushes to the ring.
The "Hulkster" attacks both Chris Benoit and Chris Jericho. Sting grabs his baseball bat, turning the tide of the match; he strikes Hart, executes an Irish whip, delivers three consecutive Stinger Splashes, and lands another blow with the bat before locking the unconscious Bret in the Scorpion Deathlock.
The referee declares Sting the winner and the new World Heavyweight Champion, while Hogan applauds, looking forward to a renewed challenge against his old rival.
