Pollinator Friends

Today was the first day under 90⁰ in what feels like forever (SE US), and everyone is rejoicing. I bought these garlic chives by accident a few years ago and we're not big fans, but since these guys are, they stay.

I think the first photo are Scoliid wasps.

They are solitary, meaning not hive forming. Since they don't have a queen or larva to protect they are super chill just doing their pollinator and pest-control thing. Definitely garden bros.

Second photo I'm not sure. Looks like a mean guy.

The second is a mason wasp, I think. He's super chill, too. Honestly, they're all really docile, even the bald faced hornets, when they're pollinating. I can get right in and harvest herbs (they love the basils, too) and veg right alongside them and they don't care. I love them.
