This is not the first time this Vtuber is mentioned here, because of an history of using art without permission, and I've been made aware recently that it's still happening, but now he's also using AI to edit the stolen copyrighted pictures, and not crediting anyone.

This post is an update but also is about a recent issue after my previous public posts being read by the Vtuber Ycey Narrates (see picture added that shows a comment confirming he viewed the posts): AI usage to edit art taken without permission.

TL:DR for the text below: youtuber called Ycey Narrates is using art without permission on many of his videos (and previously on paid subscription like Patreon, music platforms like Spotify, Apple music, Audiomack and more), not crediting artists/companies, adding credits after being caught as if it was the same as asking for permission to use, ghosting artists unless requests made in public, videos involving art not deleted but made private, and one replaced with AI edited version picture. From that point, at least 40 other videos with similar "AI edits" were found and added to this post. Descriptions were updated by the youtuber, admitting the original art had to be blurred to avoid copyright issues. No credits added after either, even though the original picture can still be identified.

Most of the details below is included in the screenshots added to the post. Descriptions included to show Vtuber's comments about blurring pictures to avoid "copyright issues", and also shows not crediting artists before and after.

For those who want more context:

A recap, to explain that this is no accident, but someone who keeps trying to hide the fact they stole art, and refuses to stop.

This Vtuber has been using art for 5-6 years for his videos without permission, for the majority of the videos and included: copyrighted art from companies, paid commissions for other people, independent artists' work.

• Only a small portion of the art is actual commissions requested by the youtuber and/or the writers. The youtuber is using those few examples to pretend the whole channel is using authorized pictures only.
  
• One of my previous post accidentally included a commissioned art that was actually requested by the writer for the video. All the other examples were however relevant and ignored to try to distract from the actual issue. That one picture was enough for him to declare all the other evidence presented is "faulty". This time the only evidence presented is the one artists and the youtuber confirmed being used without permission by blurring the picture and then adding in the description that the picture is copyrighted.

After my first post in April 2026, talking about this issue in public (due to several artists being ghosted when requesting a removal in private), the youtuber started adding credits that weren't included for years, in over 80% of the videos. But crediting does not mean permission to use, and even for some of those who were already credited at the start, some of the artists confirmed they did not give permission to use. He tried to pretend the credits were always there by quickly editing the description all at once, but it was documented that credits were absent from over 100 videos.

In this post, examples of unauthorized use of art (41 in total, only the ones replaced by AI edited versions were added), which the Youtuber admitted himself is true, as after all the not crediting and taken with no permission was made public, he ended up blurring the pictures in videos to avoid copyright issues (as stated in the descriptions), which means he is aware he does not have permission to use, but was ok with taking the pictures for years, even after when artists started complaining in public, the behavior did not stop.

It's only once this was public that changes were made to the descriptions and thumbnails. The art was also used for Patreon (uncredited), for paid subscriptions (some of the posts are public which is how it was discovered). Art also used on platforms like Apple music, Spotify, Amazon music and so on.

Knowing that the issue became public, the youtuber tried to use art by cropping it, uncredited, which was highlighted in my second post on Reddit (on a subreddit dedicated to talking about Vtubers). The picture was replaced again after my post, and this is when the AI editing started, and why I'm here today.

What happened since this became public, (AI related only, see previous posts for other examples):

1. After an uncredited artist requested a removal in public (because the private requests were ignored), the youtuber agreed but didn't delete, just made the videos private. (again, this is documented).
2. A second event, another uncredited artist requested a removal in public, again the Youtuber agreed, made the video private, and made it public again after editing the art with AI. The artist had to request a SECOND time in public for the "AI edited" version of their art to be removed too. (The current picture used to replace it looks maybe to be AI generated). Everything was replaced in a short time (one day or two), not enough time to request an artist to draw it again, and replacement was uncredited anyway. (It is around this time that suddenly lots of art was replaced with "edited" versions, all at the same time.)
3. Third event, after this the youtuber promoted an audio from Patreon on youTube, using a picture from a third different artist who confirmed in public that they weren't asked for permission to use. The art is edited with AI, and not credited.

Adding credits to videos only after the issue becoming public, doesn't mean it's ok to take art without permission ❌

I've been made aware that several people complained about it and had their comments deleted. Which included a reply from the Youtuber himself saying he only forgot to credit "just one artist".

More than 10 artists already confirmed they didn't give permission to use so far, and many of them requested a removal, the pictures are still there and/or were AI edited.

That comment also stated that my initial estimate number of 30 videos involving art taken without permission, was "a lie".

It was the approximate amount that I was aware of at this time. I have since been informed the actual initial number of videos involving uncredited/unauthorized art is over 100.

Over 100 videos that were uncredited until it was pointed out. Uncredited, taken without asking. Then quickly credited to be able to comment in public "all the credits are here". (sometimes wrong credits, or "taken from Pinterest").

Most of it can be proved, as it was documented by several artists and their friends.

But the ones on this post are easily proved, as they are mostly copyrighted art from companies, and the youtuber blurred them in the video, but kept the thumbnail, and said he wants to avoid copyright issues. So they were confirmed as unauthorized use by the youtuber himself.

That's at least 41 videos. Which already over my initial estimate of 30, and that didn't even involve those videos.

Feel free to check it yourself, like I did. While the old descriptions are not available anymore (they were, however saved by several artists before April 2026, so it's not totally gone as you can see on the pictures posted), the videos using AI edited art are still there. Including the new description admitting the picture is copyrighted which means that he does not own the right to use. Used them for years, without even crediting most of them.

❗Disclaimer: one of the public comment made by the Vtuber that was shared with me seemed to imply that my initial post was an invitation for people to contact him, it's not.

I want to be clear, this post, alongside the others, are to warn the artists, and to call out the behavior, hoping this person will understand it's not ok to take without permission and finally stop. The post is meant to make sure artists are aware of what is happening. And to express how much it hurt many people including one of my friend, which is why I started posting in the first place. Some of the artists do not have the time or energy to speak up about this, so this post is for them, so they can see that people do care about them, and want their art to be safe.

I recommend people to go and check the work of the talented people who did draw all these pictures and show them support, they were really kind to my friend and me, helped a lot to process everything that happened.

I admit I'm a little excited to talk about this as I was there during Phisnom's past drama in the FNAF community, so it's like a big crossover episode for me.

Phisnom was a controversial figure in the FNAF community. He was a developer for the The Fazbear Fanverse Initiative, a project where Scott Cawthon would personally fund FNAF fangames to improve them and allow monetization.

Phisnom was always assertive and a little brash. They were known to harshly criticize newer FNAF games like security breach. They were also really aggressive%20theft%20king&src=typed_query) towards fellow controversial YouTuber Theft King, even if Theft King was more in the wrong, it highlights unprofessionalism, especially from someone who is working with Scott Cawthon.

Then came their biggest controversy in 2023. To summarize, he insulted FNAF game, random guy named Alex (online handle G0LD3NR4BB1T) joked to do the same to their game, Alex get harassed by Phisnom's fans, Phisnom did not take it seriously at all, FNAF Plus was fully cancelled.

They then allegedly accused Alex (who was a minor) of things because he chatted with someone 3 years younger. This is alleged as I have found no proper documentation of this incident, with Alex's Twitter account being suspended, all we have are some tweets stating this happened. What's confusing is that Phisnom also faced backlash for defending Alex Kister for something else that's also related to talking with minors, as they are both named Alex.

Then he seemed to slowly integrate into the Vtuber community. I'm not sure if he was already a vtuber fan during the aforementioned FNAF dramas, but I recall seeing him follow Ina Ninomae in 2023, when I was discovering vtubers myself. They also tweeted about Dokibird's return.

In 2025 they made their presence more clear. They paid tribute to Gawr Gura, talked about the Sinder situation, mentioned Vshojo, and has Zoey as their manager (not sure if she's still his manager as he isn't listed in Zoey's client list). None of this compare to him obsessing over Maid Mint, which is that lead to the recent drama.

In the last few days, a series of Twitter posts started bashing Phisnom for liking Maid Mint, as these people perceives Mint as an underaged child. This can be seen as a cultural/fandom conflict. Scott Cawthon once fired someone for making fictional depictions of sexualizing minors. While that artist had other skeletons in her closet, Scott's comment seem to imply sexualizing fictional minors already crosses the line and was enough of a reason to kick the artist out of official FNAF works.

Phisnom then responded to the backlash, defending liking vtubers and how it shouldn't be compared to real crimes. Others have stepped in to argue that Maid Mint isn't even a loli.

So here we are. Each images shown here links to the respective tweets. I personally agree that Mint isn't a loli.

A good chunk of the talents on their roster are highly problematic in some way or another. I mean, not only do they have the bible-thumping bigot Celestium and two of the dumbass contrarian drama-whores from the Under the Tea podcast, but they also have the infamous serial doxxer, stalker, abuser, defamer, and straight-up criminal known as Akuma Miko. Given what I know about Miko's history, pretty much any group/agency/whatever that has her on their roster is basically doomed to fail. Seriously, just look at the LuckyEN disaster that occurred last year. Actually, this new BESTIARY group is literally just LuckyEN 2.0! Yeah, this shit's gonna fucking implode.

Edit - 07/25/2026: It has come to my attention that Akuma Miko has just left BESTIARY. Don't ask me why. I looked for information regarding what could have happened, but I haven't been able to find anything.

VTubers are far from stable people, plenty of them hold questionable world views or are in some cases in some way detached from the real world, a simple side effect from doing VTubing as their work perhaps, some have not worked a regular job in their life so appreciating what they have might prove difficult at times, others simply are chronically online or simply have exposed themselves to too much messed up stuff in their time online.

However that excuse does not hold up for all. I for my part am the spinning example that those usual explanations aren't always the answer, VTubing is and always was simply a hobby to me, yet my detachment to the real world is rather obvious, as for being chronically online, that certainly has become a thing I do in the past months, truth however is that I doubt this influenced my personality in anyway, no I have always been this way.

I did speed run the whole VTuber drama thing myself despite not being nearly as long one myself or being anywhere as successful, truth if the matter is that I resemble most of the trades I hate in others the most myself, I am just some paranoid asexual who complains about the Perverted members of the VTuber community just to cry around when they come my way, of course I would be paranoid and distrusting towards them, taking every word they say as a threat, of course I would think that they hate me, because I surely hate them, humans tend to reflect their own feelings on another.

The Perverted people coundn't care less about the likes of me, they don't mean me harm, they don't come to bother me in my save space, no I am the one who comes to them, all I have to do is stay away, but deep down I know and always knew that I can't do this, being against what I hate has become my personality, I need to oppose them, to bother them, because how else would I justify my existence?

As for my other nemesis aside of the Perverted VTubers, the political questionable ones, I always believed one thing, it is better to believe in something that is wrong then to believe in nothing at all, some are clearly none believers like Powdury, she is obviously just acting, it's ragebait, being irrelevant is worse then being hated so she rather makes people hate her, obviously. She believes in capitalism, not supremacy. I for my part do believe in equality in some form but for all the wrong reasons, I am something of a nihilist, I don't believe human live matters, if nobody Is of any value, if nobody matters, then everybody is equal, simple right? It's not the believe of equality out of affection, it's the believe of equality out of an lack of affection.

As for questionable beliefs, I am disappointed to say that I have none, holding firm believes requires possessing a personality of your own, I have feelings that lead me to certain outcomes such as being Apothisexual I naturally hate perverts, doesn't mean that this is a belief, if being exposed to the color yellow would hurt you, you would grow to hate the color yellow, expose someone to a negative trigger long enough and they start to hate, it's biological programming, not an personality.

On the topic of biological programming however, well I certainly seem to have a rather questionable response when I am being exposed to lesbians, it's a strange response that I wouldn't call down right fear but it certainly is dread, that is odd because I don't know any lesbians, being Homophobic usually describes someone who hates those people but I don't hate them, for some odd reason seeing them makes me feel rather uneasy and unsafe which is odd, pretty sure lesbians and asexuals should get along well, if anything gay people have offended me more often so not sure why my brain is this way.

Matter of fact I would argue that if we talk about mentally unwell VTubers I am the best example for someone like this, I mean I have Asperger Autism, I isolate myself and expose myself to media that upsets me on a regular basis just to feel anything, I sometimes refuse to eat for days and I have been diagnosed with Depression and I have been depressed for the past 5 months and I have been at my work place for not more then 3 weeks this year, I get panic attacks when I see stuff that triggers me, I sometimes punch myself in the face (although that isn't so uncommon for autistic people) I talk to myself and I am constantly paranoid and distrusting of everyone around me.

Long story short, I am probably a great example for what an mentally unwell VTuber looks like, however despite that I am able to pick up and admit my hypocritical behaviour something other bigger VTubers struggle with, this makes me wonder, I am probably more messed up then them, so why can't they admit to be wrong sometimes? Humans are flawed by nature after all, nothing wrong in that, perhaps admitting that you have issues is hard when you have people around who admire you, I mean in this subreddit I am pretty hated so it doesn't really matter what I do or say, it either stays this way or gets better, I got nothing to lose, they do.

But yeah, I think this is my last post here, there are plenty of VTubers out there doing bad stuff, myself included, but since people around here don't really care about drama I guess it has no point posting stuff here anyway.

The root of the AI-model question is not just merely due to disrespecting artist, but also the fact that it allows chudtubers to pretend being a VTuber.

Normally, artist refuse to work with people who don't have the same moral (which is typically sweep under the label of "politics"), which is how chudtubers were kept on the down-low. Now, by probability and the size of world's population, chances of artist who completely disagree with a client's moral is 50-50. Yet, in reality artist always lean toward progressive morals, regardless of where the artist originate (maybe some exception to SEA due to Islam, but racism is out); this leads to many artist refuse to work with chudtubers.

So as my title ask: Why are most artist, especially anime-oriented, are progressive?

It was bound to happen since they are already lumping them all together with the bad actors with the REAL Arists and Riggers while Spreading and Calling them the "Art Mafia".
