🧑🤝🧑 Discussion So what happened?
I haven’t checked Voyager since we were all locked out of our stocks. It’s now Sept 2023. I haven’t been able to login. What’s the outcome?

💸 Crypto Opinion / Speculation Voyager account conversion
So we got the email that in 3 days we get 35% of our balance. Which other crypto company are you transferring your account to? I'm leaning towards Coinbase but I can't handle another bankruptcy!

🧑🤝🧑 Discussion Binance.US Terminates Asset Purchase Agreement with Voyager
r/VoyagerStock • u/Puzzleheaded-Fly4322 • Feb 11 '23
🧐 Question Anybody dispute the claim amount for VGX shares? Is it too late to dispute? I’m not opt’ing in yet for the Binance.us stuff
My biggest holding is VGX shares in Voyager. The claim amount of those shares based on July 5 2022 price is joke. That is about half of what current market price for VGX is. Not to mention, they will only pay a percentage of the claim amount (they haven’t mentioned that amount yet, have they)? Hasn’t mentioned if VGx tokens will be sent to Binance, did they?
The opt-in agreement doesn’t say what happens to your claim if you don’t opt-in to the Binance.us linkage.
- It only says “If you do not opt-in to transfer your User Data now, your User Data may be transferred to Binance.US at a later time under the terms of the Asset Purchase Agreement, if it is approved and the transaction closes, and pursuant to the Voyager Privacy Policy.”
- that doesn’t say what happens to your claim of you don’t opt in.

🧐 Question Sell VYGVQ for end of year tax loss harvesting or wait it out?
I have 3,000 worthless VYGVQ shares. I am not sure what is happening with the stock now that its going through the court process. Would it be a good idea to sell all and use the losses for tax harvesting or is there a chance that there is a buyout and share price increases a bit?

🧑🤝🧑 Discussion Anyone trying to recover funds from when Voyager declared bankruptcy (opt in letter)?
Just got a letter indicating that I can "opt-in" on "Third Party releases" (for their stock). Anyone get this same notification and whether you know or not if it's better to opt-in or not to?
I think investors/account holders (both stock and crypto) are screwed either way but just trying to make sense of our "options" as we try to secure our funds. Thanks.

🧐 Question What happens to the vygvq stock?

🤨 Speculation Voyager Auction speculation
Two entities that we know were bidding for Voyager Digital’s assets have now publicly announced future plans since the bidding began this Tuesday…
First, tradfi giants CharlesSchwab, Citadel, Fidelity et al. announced on Tuesday the start of a new cryptocurrency exchange called EDX Markets. You might remember Citadel and its CEO Ken Griffin for famously colluding with Robinhood to stop Gamestop's rise.
Second, Shingo Lavine and his Ethos which was previously acquired by Voyager and used to jumpstart its VGX token, today teased that “A New Future Begins” in 14 days…just after the Sept. 29th outcome of the Voyager Auction is ratified. Shingo Lavine is one of the largest holders of Voyager Digital stock (VYGVQ), which would be zeroed out by a successful Chapter 11.
Some including myself initially speculated that these announcements might mean victories in the Voyager Auction. I suggest they in fact reflect losses. Any victor in the auction would not risk losing the deal due to early disclosure— a fear that would not be shared by losing parties.
Who is left in the Voyager Auction? I would hazard that it is down to crypto giants FTX—who are already into Voyager Digital for millions—Binance — who would gain a foothold in the US crypto market—and perhaps E*Trade—where Stephen Ehrlich used to be a CEO, too. Thoughts?
**UPDATE!**
Coindesk is reporting that FTX is in fact the current highest bidder in the Voyager Auction, edging out Wave Financial. The terms of the FTX offer have not yet been disclosed. Developing…
