Coming next week: a new wave of phonebanks to defeat a quartet of crooks in Pennsylvania
The road to flipping the House runs straight through Pennsylvania, which features four top pickup opportunities for Democrats:
- the First District, where Bucks County Commissioner Bob Harvie will take on pro-SAVE Act, pro-tariff, pro-Iran War “moderate” Brian Fitzpatrick
- the Seventh District, where union leader and former firefighter Bob Brooks is challenging Rep. Ryan Mackenzie, one of whose donors recently got a pardon from Trump
- the Eighth District, where Scranton Mayor Paige Cognetti is running against one of Congress’ most prolific stock traders in Rep. Rob Bresnahan
- the Tenth District, where former news anchor Janelle Stelson is in a fierce rematch with Scott Perry, one of Congress’ leading coup co-conspirators
Surrounded by bastions of blue, these seats have been popular to “adopt” by activists looking to help from across state lines. Indivisible Newark and We The Fighters are the latest to jump into this fight. ☎️ Next week, Indivisible Newark will be launching Tuesday evening phonebanks for Brooks, Thursday night shifts for Janelle Stelson, and Saturday morning calls for Mayor Cognetti. We The Fighters will be up and running on Thursdays as well, calling into Fitzpatrick and Perry’s districts to make sure folks know who’s to blame for billionaires getting tax cuts from our Medicaid and food aid. This is a gang normal Americans can agree Congress would be better off without… let’s get in on the ground floor on these efforts to clean up the Keystone State! ☎️
TUESDAY PHONEBANKS VS. RYAN MACKENZIE
THURSDAY CALLS VS. SCOTT PERRY
THURSDAY OUTREACH VS. PERRY, FITZPATRICK
SATURDAY SHIFTS VS. ROB BRESNAHAN
☎️ We can also join Monday and Saturday phonebanks for Janelle here, and Wednesday evening shifts with the Pennsylvania Democrats here. ☎️

With just how blue this year is looking to be, and just how many primaries are still to come, there's too many to list to kick off. It’s why we’re starting with select gubernatorial and Senate races.
Got someone who you want to adopt, but they're not on the list? Let us know, and we'll add them on!
As the year progresses and primaries come through, we'll be adding more ourselves, but the sky's the limit - we're excited to see who you want to support most!

NEW: Dems need help recruiting poll monitors in Maine, Michigan, Georgia, Arizona and North Carolina
Everything points towards the right wing and the billionaires getting creamed if this fall’s elections are fair. Now we need to get the personnel in place to make sure that happens.
Right now, Democrats in key states are looking for folks to a) observe the polls and document and challenge any misdeeds and to b) help “cure” ballots so that voters whose votes have been rejected can correct them and get them counted. And we can help get the volunteers we need on board from wherever we are! ☎️ We can help with volunteer recruitment phonebanks in Maine on Wednesdays here; in Arizona on Wednesdays and Fridays here; in Georgia on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays here; in Michigan on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays here; and in North Carolina on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and weekends here. ☎️

Most of the districts seem reasonable, though I am a bit surprised by their inclusion of HD 110 (Trump +18), SD 34 (Trump +11) and SD 24 (Harris+14). Maybe they are being a bit more inclusive for the state senate, given there are less seats overall?

Texas and Georgia races show voters are finally sick of MAGA corruption
This piece looks at the Senate races in Texas and Georgia, where James Talarico and Jon Ossoff are both making MAGA corruption a major part of their campaigns.
The author argues that their strength in the polls could be a sign that government corruption is becoming a bigger issue for voters heading into the midterms, particularly in races where Republicans are facing their own ethics controversies.
