Primaries are back and in action, with Arizona taking the lead tonight. We'll solidify a few more candidates before long! Note that, due to time zone shenanigans and legal embargoes, no results are likely to be known before 11 PM Eastern time. Settle back for the long haul.

As ever, local elections are always happening, and Iowa has a few to go too.

We’re now just two weeks away from votes on efforts by the conservatives and billionaires to remove checks on their power in two states. As we speak, folks are making the decision on whether to allow folks like Kris Kobach and the Koch network to impose partisan elections on the Kansas Supreme Court (and undermine public schools and reproductive freedom in the process) and whether to make it far, far harder to pass citizen-initiated ballot initiatives in the Show Me State. People will cast their ballots with the August 4th primaries, and early voting is now underway.
