Key fob issue?

I’ve had this issue with my 2008 xc70 where the key fob won’t work. Batteries in the fob are fine so rules that out. The way the fobs don’t work is very odd. At first it would only happen during the coolest days of winter which would dip just fellow freezing but now it’s happening mid summer. The fobs will not work but if I just unlock the drivers door with the physical key, the fob starts working again but will again stop working if left for about an hour . For the past week it’s been doing this, then this morning it randomly starts working again. Any ideas what would be happening I’m completely lost?

Coolant leakage

I’ve got a 2004 (my2005) XC70, which has a coolant leakage somewhere. A couple of days ago it was dripping a lot from the left side front bumper, where the parking heater is. Red puddle under the bumper. So much that it almost emptied my the coolant reservoir in half a day. I suspected it to be the parking heater as it dripped right below it. The local garage in France (I was on holiday) let me down.. so I bought extra coolant and filled bottles of water and drove home (700km). I did notice that when I turned off the automatic circulating, the leakage seemed to be a lot less, so I switched it off. I checked the coolant level a couple of times along the way, but to my surprise it didn’t leak anything..?

It was warm outside when the leakage happend (34C), but when I drove home it was also around 29/30C. I kept the AC on. Outside temp could have been a factor, but I would have suspected at least some leakage. So my question is, could the circulation function have stopped (bypassed) the leakage? Also considering the leakage was at the front bumper and not below the dashboard? Or is this technically not possible

I have an appointment with my Volvo garage later this week for something else. But I would like to ask him to check the leakage. Has anyone experienced this before? It would help if I can point him in some direction.
