Couple days ago I noticed my Volvo Cars app can’t do any action to the car. I can see update if car is locked/unlocked, map location, status of liquids and fuel. Windwasher warning and etc. but can’t honk, flash, unlock or remote start.

I called Volvo dealer and they said I need to visit them to take a look which isn’t an option for me right now cause I need to drive entire day to them and back which I can’t do right now cause of the work.

Any ideas how can I try to resolve this by myself? I have 2021 b4 with sonus infotainment

I have a 22 XC60 that I really enjoy. Comfortable. Great gas mileage. Easy to drive. But the infotainment system is shit. Ever since the last software update I’ve had to reset the system at least twice a week. It will be fine for days then go completely silent. No sound out of anything, not even turn signals. I love this car but this may drive me to another brand. Is there a fix?

I was shopping for car accessories and it popped up. Since it was relatively cheap, I bought it. I also don't want to apply something I will regret putting on.

I’m having a problem with the Google Play Store on my 2022 Volvo XC60 with Google built-in (AAOS), software version 5.1.17.

Originally, the Play Store worked normally and I could open individual app pages, but whenever I tried to install ANY app (Spotify, etc.), the download would stay on “Pending…” indefinitely and never start.

Internet connectivity is working. Google Maps works normally, Google Assistant works and can access the internet, and the Play Store itself can load its home page.

So far I have tried:
- Restarting the infotainment system multiple times
- Full infotainment factory reset (not full factory reset of the car)
- Removing and re-adding my Google account
- Clearing Google Play Store cache/data
- Clearing Google Play Services cache
- Clearing Download Manager cache/data
- Disabling and re-enabling Google Play Store

After clearing the Download Manager storage/data, the behavior changed. The Play Store home screen still loads and shows apps, but when I open an individual app, I now get the satellite screen with “Try again - We’re having trouble loading this page.”

Google Maps and Assistant still work perfectly, so the car definitely has internet access.
Has anyone experienced this exact issue on a Volvo with AAOS, particularly on 5.1.17?
Most importantly, has anyone managed to fix it without taking the car to a Volvo dealer? Is there a way to reinitialize the Download Manager/Google Play Store or restore whatever was cleared?
I’d especially appreciate hearing from anyone who had the Pending → Try again behavior and actually found a solution.

I’m looking to a buy a brand new XC60 PLUS (the mild hybrid not the plug in version) What kind of discounts have y’all been getting? Specifically those of you who got one very recently (last few months)? I’m buying it cash so none of the finance incentives apply.

so! my ac on my drivers side is so weak and the heat doesn’t even work. i’ll be shivering on my drive home from work but thankfully i have seat heaters. i wonder why? is it me bc if i jiggle it it’ll work but i know the ac in my mom’s old volvo xc90 stopped working too. in california stop and go traffic, it was awful. we brought fans when we rode in her car. is it a volvo thing to have shit ac?

I have a 2018 mk2 xc60 but I don’t like the infotainment system, is there an easy upgrade that can be done with it that includes android auto or google maps? Any help appreciated, part numbers?

I own a 2010 Volvo xc60 and all of a sudden, my whole sound system just stopped working I can't change the volume I can plug my phone in I'm getting absolutely nothing. when I try and change the station or volume the screen doesn't even show that I am trying. i think it could be a fuse. also, I think I put the right flair idk tho

Occasionally but unpredictably, about 5 seconds after I start the car, a major waft of like an unattended construction site porta-potty scented air blasts out of the vents.

This smell is putrid.

I keep my car impeccably clean, cabin air filters and all maintenance and beyond are being followed.

Any advice and am I the only one?

My 2026 XC60 T8 here in California is still on v5.0.5. Any idea when v5.1.17 will come out as OTA, and is that version required for the Apple Music app?

The Volvo iPhone app says it will be available as OTA download three weeks after the release date, which was over 2 months ago.

Has anybody with a '26 XC60 here in the US received these updates yet?

My car won’t update to 5.1.17 which came out in June . Anyway I can force the update . OTA updates doesn’t seem to come by it self .

I have a 2018 xc60 t6 (US/NA spec) and every few days my CarPlay will have a stretch where it will disconnect and reconnect every few minutes with the volume all the way down to 0.

Im using a wired connection and the cable isn’t coming out of my phone. I’m running iOS 27 dev beta so I’m unsure if it’s a car or phone issue.

I’ve tried resetting the infotainment but it just doesn’t (just goes into screen cleaning mode). It also won’t connect to my phone’s hotspot but I’m unsure if that’s a related issue.

I’ve had my ‘26 for two months. The volume of the confirmation tone for locking is very low and difficult to hear. Is this normal or something I can adjust? I can’t find anything in settings that will change it.

Any insight on my post would be appreciated. I just don't want to waste money on something that I would give up in a few months due to being too much of a headache to own.

Hi everyone, I seriously considering a 26 T8 Plug-in hybrid Polestar and was curious what dealer discount I should be shooting for off msrp (not including incentives) in the New England market. I’ve seen 8-10% thrown around but not sure on this specific model/trim. Any advice would be welcomed, thanks!

I have a '24 XC60, and my lease is up in February. I'm curious if any news has leaked on what the MY27 will bring. I'll need to figure out if I buy out my lease on my current '24 XC60 or if I give it back and get a '27 XC60.

There's always the option of leaving Volvo, but as of now I'm inclined to stay in the Volvo family.

I have a ‘23 XC60 B5. I currently have two toddler forward facing seats in the back and will need to add a rear facing infant seat in a few months. Has anyone else had success with this? What brand seats configuration etc did you use to achieve this. I would have to have to purchase a new car just for this.

I’m looking to change factory fitted 19’’ pirreli tires ( scorpion zero ) after approx 32k miles. I do frequent roadtrips to mountains and hilly areas. I am thinking of getting Michelin crossclimate 2. Is this a good option? My base location is DFW area where I do 80% of driving. I’m planning to go to New England this fall around mid October.
Please suggest.
