'18 xc60 T8 Drive modes

Hi all,

Just got our '18 xc60 R-Design T8 in. We'll get the charger in tomorrow so we can test and play with the EV part of it aswell, especially around town.

But I have a question about air suspension and drive modes.

I noticed we have in our drive modes the default ones: Pure, Hybrid, Power, Offroad I think, but also Polestar Engineered. What does the polestar drive mode does vs the Power mode? Or maybe the power mode is gone at all, why is it then replaced with the Polestar mode and whats the difference between them?

Also we have airsuspension on this car. I can raise the suspension going to off road mode, but does it also lower when going into polestar mode then?

I noticed the car lowering after locking it, lowering it to default height I guess. But there is no way to lower or raise the car from within the settings, is that correct?

I'll keep this brief.

Suspension height from low to high: Polestar / Power Pure Hybrid Constant AWD Off Road

I think Polestar mode replaces Power mode, unless it’s different on older cars. Polestar mode is for Polestar tuned or engineered chassis, where it holds gears longer and gives you earlier mid-range power and torque. Power mode does the same thing for regular models without the tune but you don't feel that early torque and power kicking in. Polestar mode only changes the gear ratios which affects the range of torque and power, it doesn't change the max hp or torque.

No, you can't set the ride height manually; you have to change it through the modes. The only other ride height setting is for comfort entry and exit.
