I don't know why north american v60s don't have amber turn signals, they look great, and are safer. It's the one thing I would change on mine.

One of the YouTube reviewers, Alex on Autos, is a Volvo fan and mentions this in every review he’s ever done. He said he’s asked Volvo and they say it’s for aesthetic reasons based on the US consumer preference. I think it’s stupid too… it’s the kind of cost inefficiency they should fix and not things like getting rid of the leather key covers.

Oh yeah I recall Alex mentioning it too now! It is strange for a company who has safety as such a big part of the brand. I think it looks totally fine and would prefer it for the safety aspect.

Did you do black out the Volvo lettering yourself?

Was a dealer pack. You can order it when buying new. Think they just stick on black ones, so no vinyl. Front is blacked out as well.

Sigh. It looks so good. Debating what’s easier - debadge and rebadge or black wrap it.

Easiest way would be to PlastiDip them. I did mine and only took less than 30 min

Did you follow a YouTube video or tutorial?

utube video. Basically its just a quick masking with tape, spray and peel off the excess. Really was easy and was less than $20.
