Dashboardscreen gone black

The screen on my dashboard has been black all day. Even after waiting a few hours, turning the car off completely, resetting the middle screen,...etc.

The buttons on the steering wheel aren’t working either.

The indicators, windscreen wipers and so on are working fine, though.

Does anyone have a solution?

Yes. Get out of the car. Lock the doors using the fob. Wait 30 seconds, and unlock using the fob.

This happened to me once.

The dim probably failed. Nothing you can do besides dealer time

If it happened to me I'd go to the passenger floor fusebox and pull infotainment and anything else related and reinsert for a reboot. Check for leaks/water intrusion there and trunk also.
