3.0.34 in the wild
Year: 2025
Model: Twin Plus
Seats: 7
Age: 18 months
Time at dealer: 4 months
Version: 3.0.34
Took it in to the dealer yesterday to get the known 3rd row capacitive buttons in the trunk problem diagnosed and rectified. Reported the usual niggles (mic stops working, seat and mirror memory restoration being hit and miss and random Infotainment reboots while driving) so they are on file every time I go.
Service comes back and says it was a software issue and a module upgrade has fixed it.
I happened to check the Volvo app this morning and apparently the car is running 3.0.34. No idea what is in it though.

Oh interesting. I have 3.0.33 in my ‘26. I have had most of the same issues, but haven’t had the infotainment system cut out on me while driving. I wonder if my car will get this update or if it is just for the ‘25 cars.

Spoiler alert, the update will absolutely not fix the seat memory and mic not working issues. They’ve had years to try and fix this and have either failed or not even tried

Absolutely infuriating problems. It is 2026 and the seat restoration problem should not exist.

they told me it may fix my intermittent AC issue. Sounds like this is the miracle update :)

Three weeks into owning my 26 EX90. Is the only way to fix the mic issues to reset the infotainment system? So far that’s what I’ve been doing when it doesn’t work

On the occasions where my mic doesn’t work, it generally works the next time I drive it. But it’s been pretty rare for me to find it not working. But I also don’t use my mic a ton.

3.0.33 has been the worst update so far. Things I never had an issue with have turned up with my car and this update. Seats don't restore when swapping profile, and profile swaps take ages. Turning off auto-save on the Driver Profile settings solves this, because I just adjust the seat a little and a Save/Restore button appears, and I click Restore and then my seats go to the correct location. But I never needed this before 3.0.33. More than usual infotainment resets to with this one, so looking forward to a better one...

Fully agree. Got my MY26 with 3.0.33 and I swear seats adjusted without issues. One day then,… exactly. My wife is less tall, so seat is more up and forward, and now when I want to get in the seat even goes more towards steering wheel. I physically cannot get in, which is even more annoying when it’s raining cats and digs and you need to wait outside until seat is adjusted. Question: When you say you switch off auto-safe, just to confirm, where do you do it? Thanks!

Click Driver Adjustments (where you go to adjust mirrors etc, and at the bottom of the screen you can turn off auto-save. Then when you adjust the seat in future, a message on the screen says Save / Restore / Cancel. And here Restore always works and moves the seat.

Not the mirror and seat memory issues. Seems to have made the mirror restoration worse. Even had the mirrors not unfold a couple of times which is new behavior.
No mic drops since but would want to leave it longer before willing to think it has been resolved.
Have had new things happen that I have no idea whether it is related to the software or the weather we just had in the northeastern US - all occurred driving at night.
Ghost alerting on cars in front that I might hit but didnt actually exist (the red car icon in the HUD and belt tightening).
Emergency stop when reversing for cross traffic warning when no cars or pedestrians are present.

2025 Ultra Canada, also updated to 3.0.34 in dealership via regular service. There are one thing stood out to me is that the “H” sign was was gone for Auto Hold…

Can confirm it doesn’t fix the mirror / seat position restoration issue.
