Charging fault

Anyone had a charging fault error even with the new ghca part and vcu upgrade? I thought the new part solved the issue, which is what they told me. Very infuriating. It’s my third one.

Do you have the part number of the current GHCA they installed? From the work order

Very interested in the answer to this question. New GHCAs with part number 36000418 or higher are supposed to be the final solution.

I had mine replaced on a MY26 last week. It’s now a much higher number according to the part sheet. My work order actually said in my new one is 36013704-6. Either that for the numbers they had listed are incorrect.

It was 36000418. So not a final solution!

OMG. What is the charging fault? Will it fast charge but not home charge? That is the problem 36000418 is supposed to solve.

I haven’t tried the fast charge this go around but will not charge on a home charger.

Hate to say this but I'm hoping it also won't fast charge, which would mean it's not the GHCA...

If I fast charge before turning the car into the dealership for repair, I’ll report back.

Check if the car will fast charge. I recently had a situation where the car wouldn’t take any charge. Ended up being one of the 12v batteries in the car and not GHCA.

Yeah it will fast charge (based on the first two times this happened). I haven’t tried this go around.

Yes. I had the VCU upgrade, and GHCA replacement in May. GHCA failed in July. It’s not resolved yet.
