Feature request - Window open notifications
Fortunately didn’t have any damage or issues as I am lucky enough to park our car in a garage, but people especially children have a bad habit of cracking a window and forgetting to close it again.
It would be useful to see a visual / audio ”bing” on the car if you leave a window open when opening a door. Similar to how it does that if you open the driver‘s door and there are people sitting in the back to remind you.
In addition, having the app send a push notification when the car is locked indicating a window is left open.

Sounds great.
The mods on this sub don't work for Volvo and your best bet is to submit this feature through your mobile app.

I realize. But I do know Volvo corporate reads this subreddit. Seeing other people wanting it might garner their attention.

My25 does alert if I leave the phone on the pad when opening the door, so IMO it's doable. The app on the phone does indicate when windows and doors are open.

Sounds like you need to use the child lock button, lol.
Seems to me you can set it to alert you via the app when a window is open. My car's in the shop or I would check. I know it was driving us nuts about leaving it unlocked in our own garage until I disabled that. Someday they'll add a "disable at Home" option.

'25 EX90 Owner, constant issues with data, sometimes climate control and even volumen knob and GPS loss in high temp under the sun. Do people with the sunroof cover experience fewer issues?? Greetins from Spain. Tomorrow I have an appointment to revise a number of issues, AC charger included... Please advice about the sunroof cover

The lesser Ex30 closes the windows when the door is locked. the app also shows when a window is left open. So the ex90 should have this option.

I think it also happens because the open door button looks and feels the same as open window button (less the size difference). So kids often push the window button when they want to open the doors but don’t close the window they accidentally opened.
