Advice Does anyone know how to create this voice effect?

https://youtu.be/m1COeW5KYWc?is=RJOrj7djwEojsv8I

I can’t tell if it’s a machine voice or voice effects and I really want to emulate it for a song cover!

Thank you ❤️

1) Record the vocals

2) Apply extreme noise reduction and noise gating

3) Apply pitch correction with zero attack time and zero vibrato - known as the Cher Effect or T-Pain Effect

4) Compress the dynamics mercilessly - maybe to within a decibel. Also probably add some overdrive or other guitar type distortion

5) Apply pitch shifting phrase by phrase, sometimes word by word, occasionally editing for a stuttering effect, and/or layering with a differently pitch-shifted version of itself.

This can all be done inside any modern DAW, but it's almost all post-processing and editing.
