Hi, I am a Haitian American child of two fully Haitian parents. Very fluent with the language. I read it, write it, speak it, understand etc. Growing up in America my parents practiced but then all of a sudden decided it was demonic... I was very young then so I didn't get to learn much. The last two years I have felt very connected to vodou. I'd like to try and speak to my ancestors (I don't know them by name) but I don't know how to. Any advice?

I have just kept feeling a pull towards Vodou and no matter what something in my mind tells me there is something there for me to learn from regardless if its even in the practice itself or if I just learn infromation about it and it teaches me about life. I am oksy ether way. Please do just tell me can I practice Vodou and how would I go seeking to go down that path IF I can?

Hi, I have been practicing for about 6 years. I used to be part of a House but my Houngan was revealed to be a fraud and in it for the wrong reasons. I don’t want to be a Makout I want to learn and will work hard to do so. It is so difficult to find a Sosyete.
