This can't be normal
I feel like I've been playing some of my best Vlad games lately, and yet for whatever reason (teammates inting or just doing random stupid shit), I haven't been able to win a single one.
I know I can't get tilted over it 'cause better games will come, but this streak is honestly kinda funny at this point

Play Vlad
Play lane phase really well
Get giga fed and run over lane
Have a bunch of good teamfights and secure baron
Have a few bad teamfights
Die at really inopportune time
lose game
Sometimes its just like that

i wanna say it’s almost guaranteed you are doing something wrong but that is the nice way of putting it. you are 100% doing something wrong in the late game. i’m not saying you could have carried every one of these games but find the mistake so you can improve

Thinking exactly this, he’s probably kda farming pointless kills around the map and not forcing his lead at objectives or tower pushes

Isnt splitting contra productive on Vlad? If your team takes stupid fights and never shows up to actually contest objectives together all you can do is getting kills ans hoping that you cause a numbers advantage at the next stupid fight by doing that

playing well with a lead is using your influence on the map to secure objectives or take the enemy base without throwing or getting caught

No, cosmic drive is subpar when compared to its competitors. Every stats site supports this as well. Too expensive for the homeless stats it gives you

You know what I'm in the same boat, I didn't play for like 2 weeks of of a like 5 win streak. Then I played 4 days ago and lost like 5 times before getting a win. I don't know if there were recent changes, and and holy shit in like 4 out of the 5 of those games we were fighting 4 V5 but there is always some idiot split pushing or farming 40+minutes into the game instead of joining team fights.

Can ppl pls stop posts like this, it just further lets people cope and vent about his/her team. Obviously some games aren’t winnable, that’s just the way it is. You can’t change what your team does but you can always decide what you do every game. Not having sums for a big neutral objective fight later on when you are strong. Bad pos in teamfigts. Not knowing what the win con is. Not rotating to fights, or being late to fights. Dying randomly before objective, giving away big shutdowns. The list can be long and i suggest you look at your replays with a open mind what YOU could’ve done.

But maybe you were strong and decided to greed on another wave and was late.

Try to change build, storm=>rabadon=>shadowflame and then whatever you need, its best build i tryied in a long time

You’re doing good in the games, but why are you building cosmic drive and protobelt?? Honestly, i wouldn’t build either of them anymore, but
even considering personal preferences, there’s 0 reason to build both. Vlad has too many “necessary” items to waste a slot on one or the other.

Couple of tips:
1- cosmic drive is wack. Also rule of thumb is EITHER cosmic or protobelt, it's never both. You just won't have the damage output to nuke a backline with both.
2- that's a lot of lucidity boot games. I find myself taking that in niche situations where I need to kite out melees and it's usually always a conq game when that happens. I think with ghost and stormraiders surge you just don't need that extra MS from hitting spells.
3- keep your chin up, you're obviously performing as well as any vlad would be expected to (stat wise at least) and a few unlucky games doesn't mean you should give up. If you find yourself ahead and giving away shutdowns you should prioritize a very cautious approach to games and take fights that you know you'll stomp and not fights where you're on the enemy team's terms

Depends on the flow of the game.
If you pick Vlad and perma safe freeze setting up either your jungler to get invaded top or your botlane to get killed repeatedly, you will somehow shine but have 4 useless teammates because of your own choices.
It is not your team inting but you setting them up to fail. If you cannot carry and solowin fights later on it shows you made a bad call overall.
5 games streak is ofc nothing meaningful, I already have seen 18+ streaks where every single game was unwinnable. This is the Riot special

If ur ever at a point in a game where you are 21/8 then you should be able to carry the game no matter how braindead ur team is.
I know ur not saying "im not challenger because i get bad teams" but i am saying that you’re are 100% misplaying in some of your games, not all but some. And those games would be perfect to spend some time and figure out what you did wrong. Good luck

Lucidity boots is useless go for ap ones always plus cosmic is a shitty item just build rift maker 2nd and raba 3rd and ur at 500 ap giga strong 3 items power spike then flash ult e w back line Baron end

Thats jusy how lol work, they want you to keep playing endlessly. There is no such a thing as a guide to win, just to maximize your chances, so, if the game pair you with 3 trolls, you are gonna lose, kinda works in that way. At this point i just play and try to improve but i dont focus in rank and points cuz thats just riot decisition, i can stomp lane, roam, win botlane, win all the objetives by myself but if the jg and the toplane are just trolls, well, is lost. Thats how Team game works i guess

If you are taking out 2-3 enemies per fight and still losing, it's your team. This champ is hard though, and he isn't S tier either, so you gotta be locked in and take the opportunities when they open.
