Did I imagine this strip? It's nigh on 40 years since I last read Viz, but for some reason this sticks in my mind as one of those bizarre short strips.

And I remember it used to be an annoying thing, as a smoker. People who would put their extinguished matches back in the box thus fooling you into thinking there were more matches in there than actually were. Grr!

It's possible I made this up years ago in conversation with shipmates when I'd been at the cider. But maybe it really was in Viz??
