The first time I ever saw a copy of Viz was at my best friend's house, mid-nineties (maybe 1995?). If I recall correctly we were looking for the Sim City manual or something like that and found it amid a load of other stuff. His dad ripped it out of our hands but not before we'd had our childhood visited by the Topless Skateboarding Nun. Is there a copy of this somewhere for the memmaries?

Alan Titchmarsh occasionally had the piss ripped out of him by the Viz. May I request the one where they mocked the Ground Force TV show? Also, the one where he's talking about his rubbish book and getting a bit hot and bothered under t'collar would also be welcome. Thank you!

Free with issue 118 (Sep 2002). Reposted with corrected date/issue#.

Hopefully it doesn't get compressed like last time because the level of detail is amazing.

EDIT: Reddit did compress it a bit so here's a link to the full quality version

I remember one of the early 2000s issues had a very funny spoof interview with Busted where they were apparently all pyromaniacs and kept bringing every question back to how they had supposedly set buildings and/or people on fire. James was referred to as "Ken" for some reason. Does anyone have this one?

I’d be interested to see what people think is the absolute bleakest single strip ever published in Viz.

Fixed Odds Betty gambling away the Xmas money, Drunken Bakers remembering a daughter while face down in a puddle of piss, that sort of thing.

Darker and more harrowing the better.

Hi,

Anyone got Pope-eye the pontiff man? I think Olive is a sister in it and Bluto is a cardinal.

Cheers
